Heyy Reader,

How do you know you're ready to outsource some tasks?

I think every business owner comes to a point where they're asking theirself this questions. And if you are, you're probably pretty close to ready. However, there are some things you might want to do or take care of first.

First of all, consider what position you need to hire for. Since I'm an OBM and lead a VA agency, I'm going to attest to those services, but for some people, their first hire may be a bookkeeper, an accountant, a social media manager, or a branding strategst. No two business owners are alike and the right move for you may not be the right move for me. So take some time to see what you really need help with. If it's admin tasks or operations support/leading your team, you might need a VA or an OBM.

If you're finding that doing all the things is giving you so much anxiety that you'd rather ignore your problems than face them, it's probably time to outsoure. Likewise, if you're ready to trust someone in your business without micromanaging every single little thing, it might be the right time.

And if you're unsure if it truly is the right time to outsource tasks in your business, or you aren't sure which tasks to give away, I offer 45-Minute Strategy Sessions to talk you through all of that and I'll tell you if I think a VA or an OBM is a better fit for you.

A 45-Minute Strategy Session is just $47 and absolutely nothing is off limits. You'll meet with me, Sammy, the business owner, and we'll talk through your woes and dreams to get to the bottom of what your next step should be.

MINI MINDSET MOMENT

BECAUSE YOU DESERVE LESS STRESS AND MORE YES!

Hey bestie, let's talk about the to-do-list that's giving you the major side eye right now. Here's the simple truth - Not everything needs to be done by you or at all.

I'd like to propose a simple, yet a freaking awesome solution that works all the time.

Batch similar tasks to save brainpower.

Delegate what someone else can handle. Yes, it's very okay to ask for help. Delegation is part of your growth process after all.

Eliminate the nonsense - Bye, distractions.

You're not lazy for simplifying. You're just brilliant for putting your focus on what truly matters. So, what's that one thing you can batch, delegate, or eliminate today? Let me know - I'm cheering you on.

YOUR WALLET-FRIENDLY GUIDE TO OUTSOURCING

We've been all about delegating and outsourcing and it's a total level up for your business, but you've probably got this catch. It's only magical if it fits your wallet. You can't exactly outsource your way into peace of mind if you're going to stress over the bill later, right?

So, here's the plan:

Get real with your numbers: Scour through your wallet to see you can comfortably spend. Think of it as investing in your sanity, not just your business.

Start small: You may not be able to hire a whole team just yet, but you could start with delegating a few tasks. I mean freeing up a few hours a week makes a big difference.

Focus on the ROI: Check tasks that are stealing your time but not adding much value or it's something that someone else can handle. That's your outsourcing honeypot.

You can spend smart without digging all the way into your pocket. Remember, the best investment you got is freeing up time for you to focus on your zone of genius.

TIME FOR WHAT YOU LOVE

OVERCOMMITED MUCH? LET'S FIX THAT

You just looked at your calendar and thought, why on earth did I say yes to that? I used to be like that, and I learned the hard way. Overcommitting is practically a sport these days, but you know what? You don't have to play.

Every time you say "yes" to something you don't really want (or need) to do, you're actually saying "no" to the stuff that matter like rest, creativity, or finally finishing that Netflix series (yeah it's needed too).

Now, time to flip the script. Next time someone asks for your time, try this:

Pause before you answer. Don't allow the mouth run ahead of you. If it's not a "heck, yes", then it's probably a no.

Be honest and kind. A simple "Thanks for thinking of me, but I can't commit right now", works wonders

Also remember, saying no to one thing means saying yes to more of what is worth it and lights you up.

Giving yourself a breathing space with that needed no is good for you. It's that simple and helps you get reconnected to your passion.

I'm super psyched you're here, Reader! Thanks for reading these emails every week and hanging out with me :}

Sammy Bohannon
