Heyy Reader,
I understand that many of the people (perhaps even you) on my email list are not from the United States or do not reside in the United States. I am also aware that the whole world does not revolve around the United States and it’s politics. However, given the current state of affairs in the United States, and since I am in fact a U.S. resident and citizen, I think it is my responsibility to hold space for what is happening here.
While I am not from the deep South, I am currently living in the deep South. The systemic racism here is apparent everywhere you look. The more I’ve learned about this state’s history, the more appaled I become that I never knew these things. I minored in history in college, but my focus was Latin American history because my major was Spanish. I know a lot about the influence of my government in things that have happened and are happening in Latin America. But to continue to learn what has happened here, on U.S. soil, is another beast all of its own.
I do not have a community here where I currently live and I’m currently trying to determine where my place in the resistance is given that I do not know anyone here. So here’s what I know I can do today, as I learn where I am needed:
I will continue to lead my business based on my personal and professional core values.
Here is what Bohannon Virtual Solutions believes: 1. We should always be accountable for our actions. 2. We should always be transparent. 3. We should always act with integrity. 4. Our clients come first. 5. There is always something new to learn.
My business will continue to be led by our values and I will continue to choose to work with other values-based businesses. Growing up I didn’t have much, but I had my values and that has stuck with me into adulthood. We are nothing without our beliefs.

ORGANIZE YOUR BOOKMARKS
This week, take an hour and organize your bookmarks.
It's easy for bookmarks to get out of control. Did you know you can create folders to put them into? If you're real feisty, you can create folders for your folders (yes, I have those!).
About once a quarter I go through my bookmarks and get rid of things that no longer align and organize the things I still want to keep up there to find easily. It's been extremely helpful in staying organized and quickly finding any sites that I need to find.
